La NASA confirma las empresas que ayudarán en la misión del retorno a la luna.

El año pasado, Donald Trump asignó una directiva que se encargará de un
nuevo viaje a la Luna. Y al parecer, la primera fase de la misión ya ha sido
completada.

Esta primera instancia consistió en reunir a los colaboradores corporativos
que propulsarán la misión. Y desde ya, la agencia espacial comentó:
“Trabajar con compañías estadounidenses es el siguiente paso para
instaurar acuerdos científicos a largo plazo. Todos ellos relacionados al
estudio y la exploración de la Luna y de Marte.”

Jim Bridenstine, administrador de la NASA, confirmó que el grupo
corporativo se denominó ‘Commercial Lunar Payload Services‘ (CLPS).
Se trata de un programa espacial que se encargará de proporcionar todas
las alternativas para el viaje a la Luna. Las empresas incluidas son:

* Astrobotic Technology
* Deep Space Systems
* Draper
* Firefly
* Aerospace
* Intuitive Machines
* Masten Space Systems
* Moon Express
* Orbit Beyond

Además, Bridenstine comentó que la meta de esta reunión consiste en
completar los costes de viaje e innovación. El contrato firmado por los
dirigentes de las empresas asegura un capital de 2600 millones de dólares
en 10 años.

DaTEC: Estados Unidos no es el único país con el objetivo de pisar
“nuevamente” la Luna. China, Japón e Israel también cuentan con este
proyecto; y los tres ya está trabajando en el desde hace años.
